About Dr Carol Adib

She is a Graduate of the University of Queensland for her medical degree of MBBS, and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD), having undertaken specialist Dermatology training locally within the major Brisbane hospitals and abroad.

She trained for several years in Edinburgh at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and University of Edinburgh primarily in dermatological research, leading to her degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Edinburgh.

Her dermatological training also included a year of clinical work in a county hospital in Ireland (ROI).

Subsequent to the above training, she has been practising in Brisbane as a consultant dermatologist since 2008, with her private practice adjoined to the Wesley Hospital. She is a Visiting Medical Officer to the Wesley Hospital.

Outside dermatology hours, her leisure time is spent around pastry, painting, walking, language, movies and admiring mountaineering pursuits.
